The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has recently published the list of newly added cross-industry and cross-domain industrial internet platforms for 2023. The Dou Industrial Internet Platform, independently developed by Qingdao Dou Internet Technology Co., Ltd., made the list and has become the second such national level “cross-industry and cross-domain” platform based in Qingdao following the COSMOPlat.

Industrial internet plays an important role in facilitating transformation and upgrading in conventional industries and cultivating advanced manufacturing. The Dou Industrial Internet Platform has worked out solutions to help SMEs improve their applications of digital technology for industrial internet, featuring “cuts in purchasing costs (Dou Cloud) + technological innovations (Xipin Cloud) + intelligent manufacturing (Dou IOT), and commits itself to making enterprise purchasing and supply chains more competitive, ramping up the supply chain’s capability for integration and incubation in an innovative manner, and improving the competence of digital interconnection for equipment in the supply chain. The Platform has so far drawn the registration of more than 580,000 companies, provides services involving 22 fields and 9 categories and covers the cultivation efforts from products to modes.
