On January 25, China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism officially published the third batch of national level cluster areas of nighttime culture and tourism consumption, among which the cultural tourism block in the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center is included. The list comprises a total of 102 areas across the country, four of which are based in Shandong Province.
The cultural tourism block in the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center combines cultural diversity with tourism activities, gives full play to its unique Olympic, sailing, marine culture and SCO-related cultural resources to develop a wide array of nighttime products and services. Known as one of nighttime tourism and consumption cluster areas for tourists and citizens, the block, where night tour services are available all year around, has made use of festival celebrations to forge distinctive cultural tourism brands and established a nighttime consumption supply system integrating nighttime tourism, performance, sports, fair, shopping, exhibition, recreation, dining and lodging.
