On January 25, Hisense Group officially announced that its operating revenue for 2023 exceeded the RMB 200 bln mark, and the total profit over the same period topped RMB 13 bln, logging a double-digit growth.
Data show that Hisense Group generated in 2023 RMB 85.8 bln in overseas revenue, almost double the level in 2019, which stood at RMB 46.1 bln. Over the recent years, Hisense has done its utmost to go global. To be specific, Hisense has built its second factory in Mexico, established the ASEAN headquarters, located overseas R&D centers in Japan and Dubai, sponsored top global sport events including the FIFA World Cup and the UEFA Euro Cup and acquired Japan’s Sanden Corporation. Hisense has accelerated its speed in the globalization drive.
In the midst of global post-pandemic economic recovery, Hisense has seen a surge in revenue from RMB 100 bln to RMB 200 bln, largely epitomizing high-quality economic development in Qingdao. (Sun Xin/Yang Guang)
