11th Cross-straits TV Art Festival kicks off 

【Fuzhou Evening News】Themed with “Cross-straits Film and TV Circles Working for a Beautiful Future with One Heart”, the opening ceremony of the 11th Cross-straits TV Art Festival and the exhibition of outstanding film and TV posters from the two sides of the Straits took place in Fuzhou New Area on February 9. TV art practitioners across the Strait, who could only meet via video link over the past three years, finally gathered along glinting Donghu Lake to exchange mutual opinions on the new trends in the TV and media industry.

The exhibition has reportedly solicited more than 120 outstanding film and TV posters from the two sides of the Straits, involving films, TV series, programs, documentaries and cartoons, about 50 of which are from Taiwan.

Centering on the theme of “share the same root and combine audiovisual art with new Chinese fashion trend”, the guests from both two sides highlighted interaction and integration between traditional culture and audiovisual art, and had discussions.

The cross-straits TV art festival has reportedly set up the 14th cross-straits TV hosting rookie show, the exhibition of outstanding cross-straits film and TV posters and the cross-straits TV art forum. The cross-straits TV hosting rookie show, which began preparation and qualifying competition one year ago, has selected a total of 18 teams across the Straits to attend the finals.  (Zhao Xinyue)
