Many China national standards and association standards, the formulation of which are presided over or participated by certain Qingdao-based organizations, have won awards in the recently-held first China standardization conference.

Among the award-winning standard projects, five standards, the formulation of which were participated by CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. and CRRC Qingdao Sifang Rolling Stock Research Institute Co., Ltd., won the first prize, two standards, the formulation of which were participated separately by Technology Center of Qingdao Customs and Qingdao Yongchang Plastic Industry Co., Ltd., clinched the second prize, and three standards, the formulation of which were presided over by Qingdao Haier Smart Technology R&D Co., Ltd., CRRC Qingdao Sifang Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Metro Group Co., Ltd., received the third prize.

The “China standard innovation contribution award”, appraised and selected every two years, is the greatest national level honor in relation to Chinese standardization. To date, a total of 23 international, national, industrial, association and local standards, the formulation of which have been presided over or participated by Qingdao, have won China standard innovation contribution awards, one person from Qingdao received the lifetime achievement award and one person clinched the outstanding contribution award.
