Qingdao-made air conditioners are brining to Europe that is hit by scorching heat waves.

Since late June, Europe has been hit by scorching temperatures, and temperatures in many European countries have been chalking up new records. Therefore, air conditioners are becoming the rage in Europe. Facing the unexpected booming demand, Qingdao-made air conditioning products, which excel in quality and technological innovation, are rapidly enjoying brick sales in Europe, and are preferred the most by local consumers.

The total sales of Haier-made air conditioners in 2026 saw a surge of 30% in Europe from the year before. Haier ranks second in West Europe with a market share of 9%, and secures the first position in East Europe with a market share of 34%.

According to data from Hisense, the sales of Hisense-made air conditioners in Europe in the first half 2026 were fast-growing, and surged 117% year on year to 113,000 units. In the period from January to June, the sales of air conditioners made by Hisense in France skyrocketed by 900% from the year before.  (Sun Xin)
