Popularity of mountain landscapes and rural retreats of Fuzhou City, east China's Jiangxi Province, have surged among international visitors who feel refreshed and cooled in the countryside.

In the city's iconic Dajue Mountain Scenic Area, which is famous for its mist-shrouded mountains and ancient villages, visitors can enjoy an impressive ride on the cliff shuttle trains, with a third of the 11.8-kilometer train route running directly along cliffs.
Tourists say while climbing the mountains, the cool and exhilarating surroundings help them beat the summer heat.

"I have never seen such a beautiful place before. The air here is cool, making us feel refreshed," said Ogulbibi Naryyeva, a Turkmen international student.

Tourists can also enjoy rafting in the scenic area and some of them say amid scorching hot weather, the experience is unbelievable.
"It's amazing! The weather is hot, the scenery is gorgeous, and there is also rafting. I think everything is ok. Who would have thought me, a person who always stays at home, could have such a wonderful experience on a sudden travel?" said Wajid Kanwar Abdul, a visitor from Pakistan.

Thanks to the visa-free entry policies, China has witnessed an increasing number of foreign tourists visiting the country this summer.
According to the official data, 77.7 percent of foreign visitors entering China in the first half of the year enjoyed visa-free entry policies.
The country is also drawing repeat visitors from abroad, as more travelers return for indepth experiences beyond sightseeing.
The Dajue Mountain Scenic Area, renowned for its abundant cultural heritage, is a site of in-depth travel for international tourists.
