Fujian Expressway Group Flower Park opens for public
In the flower supermarket, varied flowers contend in beauty and fascination; in the intelligent agriculture hall, students can experience the amazing “black technology” in vegetable planting; in the parent-child amusement park, the thrilling rainbow slide enjoys tremendous popularity among tourists. The Fujian Expressway Group Flower Park integrating flower industry, ecotourism, study tour and science popularization, opened in early June and is known as China’s first large flower industry development project under an interconnection hub.
Located under the cross-bridge of Nanyu Hub in the Fuzhou National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, the Flower Park is filled up with bouquets of flowers and piles of brocades and boasts a neat environment. According to the person in charge of the Fujian Expressway Group Flower Park project, the Hi-tech industrial Development Zone has made the most of the land under the bridge in line with local conditions and built with care a comprehensive park that integrates flower industry, ecotourism, study tour and science popularization.
The intelligent agriculture hall in the Flower Park, where a variety of fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes, lettuces and strawberries are grown with organic substrates and soil-less culture technique, appeal to students from the surrounding schools for study tour. Furthermore, the Flower Park has a parent-child amusement park, which is the first unpowered children amusement park in Fuzhou. With an area of more than 20,000 square meters, the amusement park boasts over 40 large-sized fun facilities for children such as the Flying Castle, Footpath in the Air and Rainbow Sliding World.
The project will provide useful experience for comprehensive development and reuse of suitable land resources of Fujian Province’s 388 expressway entrances and exits and 72 interconnection hubs.(Lin Rongsheng)
