Mount Huashan has been known for its steepness and majestic view. Entering midsummer, the mountains are covered by green, making the steep peaks and huge rocks more precipitous and beautiful. The local government set up a series of new cultural and tourism projects at the foot of Mount Huashan, forming a complete landscape tourism pattern.

In Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in Qiannan City of southwest China's Guizhou Province, there have been abundant rainfall since the beginning of summer. The underground lakes and virgin forests formed a spectacle of forests on water.

Many tourists come to escape the summer heat. They row boats in the lake or walk in the mountains and forests to enjoy the coolness in summer.

In midsummer, the Binjiang Ecological Wetland Park in Maanshan City, east China's Anhui Province, shines with greenery and vitality. On the viewing platform along the river and on the trails in the park, many tourists come to exercise and relax themselves.

In recent years, comprehensive measures have been taken along the Yangtze River to improve the ecological environment. Enterprises with pollution have been shut down, and a variety of green trees have been planted. Nearly 700 hectares of natural poplar forests in the Irtysh River Valley in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region have entered the catkin-blowing period. The poplars include precious varieties such as silver poplar and silver gray poplar, and the Irtysh River Valley is their only natural distribution area in China.
