The promotional video on Qingdao as a youth development-friendly city was recently unveiled. With the theme of “Island of Vigorous Youth, City Friendly to Youth”, the video highlights the campaign of building a youth-friendly city in ten aspects,, which is included in the “six orientations” in Qingdao’s urban construction, and thoroughly showcases the youthful charm of Qingdao as a socialist modern international city in the new era.

Qingdao is building a leading Chinese youth development-friendly city. The strategy of “strengthening Qingdao with talent” has made it smooth to introduce and gather talent and enabled the youth to see tangible happiness. In the meanwhile, the youth in the city is becoming increasingly innovative; Qingdao has ranked running among the top ten innovation-driven Chinese cities, boasted as many as 51 provincial level key labs as well as 257,000 talented people of all kinds introduced by its new and high-tech enterprises. Qingdao is making an all-out effort to build Shandong province’s first “park friendly to young talent” and will continue to set up afterwards 20 youth-featured blocks and 20 industrial parks friendly to youths, in a bid to offer one-stop services for youth innovation and entrepreneurship.  (Yang Qiqi)
