Citylife |On July 22nd, Huangmaoxia Reservoir officially started construction in Dawan Town, Yingde City, Qingyuan. This reservoir is expected to bring about a range of benefits:

For flood control, it will significantly reduce flood risks for Guangzhou, Foshan and Qingyuan. In terms of navigation, it will establish Class IV navigable channels, allowing 500-ton vessels to access Lianjiang's inland areas. For power generation, it will produce over 100 million kWh of green electricity annually. As for irrigation, it will ensure a stable water supply for Yingde's Lianjiang agricultural zone.#citylife

7月22日，广东省清远市英德大湾镇，黄茅峡水库工程正式破土动工。这座水库肩负“多重使命”。防洪方面，黄茅峡水库建成后将极大缓解广州、佛山、清远等城市的防洪压力。航运方面，黄茅峡水库将同步建成Ⅳ级航道体系，把500吨级船舶通航能力延伸至连江腹地。发电方面，打造“绿色能源”，预计年均输出1亿多千瓦时绿色电能。灌溉方面，可保障连江英德灌区农业用水需求。
