The World-Famous “Qingzhou Smile”Exhibition Opens in Guangzhou

Art and Culture | Qingzhou Smile: Buddhist Images of Qingzhou, China opens at the Guangzhou Museum of Art on June 20 and runs through December 19. The exhibition brings together 62 Buddhist sculptures, including 22 national first-class cultural relics. Spanning five centuries—from the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Northern Song Dynasty—it traces the evolution and artistic excellence of the distinctive Qingzhou style of Buddhist sculpture.
