Esports Becomes a Major in Universities

Chinese esports teams have reached the top of world-renowned tournaments. Esports has become an official event at the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022. The operators and players of esports have already been recognized as new professions. In recent years, the esports craze has swept across the nation and gradually entered the public eye. With the rapid development of the esports industry, the demand for talent continues to grow, and cultivating esports talent has become a priority. In November 2016, “Esports Management and Operation” was included as a major in vocational education in China. Since then, many universities have launched esports-related programs. #educationandscience
