Plum blossoms in Gushan, Fuzhou are in full bloom, and oriental cherries in Fuqing, Fuzhou smell fragrant. China’s central media repeatedly recommend the booming flower admiration-featured tourism in Fuzhou. Coffee shops built under cherry blossom trees or around cliffs scramble to launch “the first cup of coffee in spring” in an indication of the thriving rural tourism. Fuzhou’s version of “the Potala Palace”, where tourists can either look into the distance atop mountains or seek the source of waters, has become an internet sensation while the AI-enabled tourism industry gains momentum. As it is now prime time to go on a spring outing and enjoy spring scenery, spring tourism in Fuzhou is thriving.
