RMB 66.21 million worth of goods transported in the four departures for the current year to date

On February 21, we learned from Fuzhou State-owned Assets Management that China-Europe freight trains have made four departures for the current year to date, in which 322 TEUs loaded with RMB 66.21 million worth of goods were transported.

A China-Europe freight train headed for Russia recently departed from the Jiangyin harbor district of Fuzhou. The train is laden with 55 TEUs of goods worth RMB 13.6297 million.

According to a person in charge of Fuzhou State-owned Assets Management, not only goods vital to people’s livelihood such as diapers, clothes and footwear, but also high-value-added products like CNC machines and generating sets have been transported in the four departures for the current year to date so that both intelligent and high-quality Chinese-made products are sold around the world, and the vigor and vitality of China in the Spring Festival holiday can be shared across the world. Since their inception in 2022, China-Europe freight trains in Fuzhou have made 87 departures, transporting a combined total of 7,116 TEUs of goods worth nearly RMB 1.43 billion. Categories of goods have been expanded over time from merely articles of everyday use to a dozen of kinds of commodities. This reflects a brilliant transformation from “selling petty commodities abroad” to “high-value connectivity”. (Feng Xuezhu)
