Sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Qingdao Sub-council, more than 270 employees of about 100 Qingdao-based foreign trade-oriented enterprises recently went to Japan to attend the 2023 creation exhibition in Nagoya. The delegation had the largest number of exhibitors overseas since the beginning of this year.
In addition to market exploitation and order acquisition, hundreds of Qingdao-based foreign trade-oriented enterprises going overseas in unison was fundamentally attributed to frequent economic and trade ties at local levels and high industrial compatibility between Qingdao and Japan. “After the RCEP policy came into effect, Qingdao’s foreign trade-oriented enterprises are showing willingness to seize opportunities and tap into the RCEP market represented by Japan. Meanwhile, central Japan, in particular Nagoya crowded with small and medium-sized enterprises, has enormous purchasing demand.” said a person in charge of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Qingdao Sub-council.
Qingdao has by far dispatched 15 delegations composed of more than 160 enterprises to such overseas markets as Europe, North America, Southeast Asia and Africa to attend leading overseas exhibitions on textiles and garments, food and beverage, tires and auto parts, and hardware and gardening, with hopes of securing orders overseas.
